Acute Dialysis

In acute renal failure, continuous renal replacement therapies (CRRT, Continous Renal Replacement Therapies) are used, which guarantee a slow and even dehydration, removing urinary substances. Therapeutically, these procedures are to replace the natural function of the human kidney. They are performed primarily in bedridden patients in intensive care. Each treatment can be used for up to 72 hours.

With the AcuSmart, all common types of treatment can be used, either with citrate or heparin as anticoagulants. In addition, therapeutic plasma exchange is a possibility.
